Joyful Christmas Wishes

Hi everyone! 

Today's card features stamps from the Joyful Christmas set from Stampin Up! 

I stamped the Poinsettia with Versamark and then heat embossed it using some glittery silver embossing powder from Ranger. 

I then used a few remaining pieces of designer paper from Stampin' Up!  called Winter Feast.  I've got more on order, but probably won't get it until late next week.  I'm still waiting on my friend and demonstrator Leanne Gorsuch to place my order. 

I added a few clear rhinestones to the center of the poinsettia.

Glory to God

Hi everyone!  I hope you are having a blessed Sunday. 

Today's card has a three different stamping companies products. 

The designer paper and card stock is from Stampin Up! and it's from their Winter Frost set.  I've also used Bermuda Bay and Coastal Cabana card stock. 

The stamp is from Our Daily Bread and has been stamped in Stampin Up's Bermuda Bay ink. 

I've used Poppy Stamps die cuts for the poinsettia and sprigs.

Calm Christmas

Hi everyone! 

My apologies to all as I really had hoped to post this card on Thursday.  However, my USB cord I use to transfer pictures from my camera to my computer bit the dust.  I don't know if I stepped on it and crushed the end that goes into the camera or if Gizmo had crunched on it, but either way it was toast.  I then went out to the computer store on Thursday to get a new cord.  I thought I had purchased the right one, but when I got home, it did not fit.  I didn't have time on Friday to go to the computer store so I waited until today.  

I tried exchanging the cord I bought, but I couldn't find one with the correct piece to go into my camera (I had my camera with me).  So I was directed to the store's camera department and lucky for me I got a gentleman who knew his camera stuff.  He looked at my camera and knew right away that the store did not have what I needed.  He told me about another store not too far away that might have what I needed.  I wasn't too happy because what if the other store didn't have what I needed either so I told the salesman that all I wanted to do was transfer photos from my camera to the computer.  He then suggested a Card Reader/Writer.  I was afraid of what they would cost, but boy did I get a pleasant surprise.  The card reader was much cheaper than the USB cord.  So I happily went to the exchange disk and got a refund for over $15.  

The only trouble I had was trying to figure how to get my memory card out of my camera.  Once I googled it, I found out how simple that was too.  Just push down on the memory card to eject.  So I learned a lot about my camera and computers today.  

Today's card is almost all Stampin' Up products.  The only things that aren't Stampin Up are the white card stock and the pearls.  The stamp and sentiment are from the Calm Christmas set.  

I was at a Stampin Up! get together today and I took this card along with others with me and one of the other ladies ordered four of my cards.   That always makes me feel really good.

Winter Frost and Flurry

Hi everyone!

Last week I called my good friend and Stampin Up! demonstrator Leanne Gorsuch and ordered some stamps, dies, paper, and card stock. I had seen a card on Pinterest that I knew I just had to copy. The supplies arrived yesterday evening.

My card front is slightly different as the original card designer had used an embellishment that I think was a brad...and well I'm not a brad girl at all. So I used some small clear rhinestones around the snowflake instead.

For the inside of the card,  I Googled to find a sentiment that I liked about snow and found the one shown in the 2nd picture by Bing Crosby.  I also used a Memory Box snowflake on the inside of the card.

I think I may have to place another order and get some more of the Winter Frost designer paper when I see Leanne on Saturday.

Stampin Up supplies used:  Festive Flurry stamps and die cuts,   Winter Frost desiger paper.  Bermuda Bay ink.

Bears Christmas

Hi everyone! 

Today's card is copy of a card that I saw on Friday at Scrapbook Etc. in Topeka, Ks.  It was so cute that I had to purchase the stamp from Wild Rose Studio and the designer paper from Reminisce called Christmas Holly.  

The image was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copics.  I'll list the Copics at the end of this post.  

I also used three Poppy Stamps die cuts.  They are the Grand Madison Window, Small Blooming Poinsetta, and Garden Sprig. 

After cutting the window out of white card stock I sponged ot with Distress Ink Tea Dye.  I added a small gold rhinestone in the center of poinsetta. 

I am going to have so much fun making Christmas cards this year as I have bought a lot of beautiful Christmas stamps and die cuts.

Glasses

Hi everyone! 

Well one of seven craft shows has been completed.  The next one isn't until October 19th.  I'm hoping in that almost two week period I can get more cards made. 

Today's card features stamps from Art Impressions.  I believe the set is called Celeste.  I just love the humor in this stamp set.   I must admit it reminded me of some of my in-laws and some in-laws of those in-laws. 

I stamped the images using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored the image with Copic markers.  The designer paper is from Graphic 45 (French Country).

Esthetician Graduation

Hi everyone!

Today I'm sharing a card with you that I did for my cousin's daughter-in-law's graduation as an Esthetician.

I got to admit that my cousin's request has me stumped as I wasn't sure what to create.  I discussed with my massage therapist and she is the one that came up with the idea of changing an older woman to a younger girl. 

Once I had that idea in my mind, I knew which stamps to use and since I wanted to use fairly large three stamps, I decide to make a 4 x 9 tri-fold card.

On the front I used Tilda with a Star Wand stamp.  The older lady (her name is Celeste) sitting on the couch is from Art Impressions.  I then used Tilda with Love Potion for the final stamp.  All images were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copics.  All designer paper is from Basic Grey.   All sentiments were computer generated using Microsoft Word.

I know my cousin will appreciate the humor in this card and I hope Darcy will too!
