Wow it's been awhile. I've been to Ohio for my nephew Andy's college graduation. I've been working some in my yard, but mostly I've been cross stitching or reading. Since I have more graduations coming up and also four BCBSKC co-workers retiring on Monday, I need to get busy making cards.

I was working at Stamper's Ink on Tuesday and spotted a new Tim Holtz embossing folder I didn't have. It's called Cracked. To me it looks like water splashing. I had an idea using fireman Riley on it. The Riley and Company blog had a birthday challenge. Combine the two and I thought about Riley the fireman having to put out the birthday candles on a birthday cake as there are too many. So that was my inspiration for this card.
Funny how I thought I was going to be doing graduation and retirement cards today oh well...There's still time.
