Paws to Warm

Hi everyone!

Today's card is one I just finished.

As several of you know I spend quite a few hours everyday browsing Pinterst for card inspiration.  I found a very similar card on Friday and since I had the stamp, I just had to ink the stamp up and color!

The stamp is one of the House Mouse stamps from Stampendous and is called Paws to warm.  I used the same Copics as Jennifer Dove for her card (Just4FunCrafts.blogspot.com).   I'll list the Copics I used at the end of this post.

If you are a Copic lover check out Jennifer's blog.  She's showing some wonderful cards she makes and each day she publishes one of her favorite Copic color combinations.  She's up to day 55 now and I look forward to something new from her everyday.

My card is 5 3/4 inch square card.  The designer paper is from DCWV.  The ribbon and rhinestones are from my stash.

I also used a Stampendous sentiment inside the card that says:  "Warmest greetings of the Season and every good wish for the coming Year".

Have a great day everyone and God bless!

Copics:  Bulb - B14, B16, B18, YG25, YG67, Mouse Skin -  E50, E51, R02, Pine - YG95 Y99, Mudpie (brown mouse) - E31, E35, E57, Monica (grey mouse) - T3, T5, T7

Zinnas

Hi everyone!

Here's a card I made back in August for my best friend Liz's mother's 90th birthday reception.   She's in a nursing center in Liberty, Mo. and I was very happy to be invited to the celebration of Clara's birthday.

The Zinnas are from a clear set from Flourishes stamps.   I stamped the image using Memento Tuxedo Black and colored it with my Copics.  The gingham designer paper is from Graphic 45.   There's some Stickles on the center of the flowers too.   The rhinestones are from Hero Arts.

Take care all and God bless!

So French

Hi everyone!

Today's post features a tag I did for display at Ink, Paper, Rubber which is in downtown Overland Park, Kansas.  It features one of the Prima dolls and the sentiment is also from Prima.

I stamped the doll onto Blend It Express paper and colored her hair and skin with Copics.  I also stamped the doll onto some Grapic 45 French country paper and paper pieced her clothing.  The other papers are also French Country.

Have good day everyone and God bless!

Celebrate Today

Hi everyone!

Today's card features a Stampin' Up image of  a poppy.  I can't remember the name of the set of stamps as I purchased the Spanish version so I could have some Spanish sentiments.  We have a large Mexican population here in Kansas City and I want to have some cards available at craft shows that Mexican customers might want to purchase because of the sentiments.

I couldn't find my Stampin' Up catalog to remember what the sentiments were in English so I went to a local Mexican eatery and had the waitress translate the sentiments for me.

I stamped the poppy using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored the image with my Copics.   I stamped the Bazzill Island Beeze card stock (the blue) with a text stamp from Inkadinkado using Stampin' Up Island Indigo ink.  The gold floral designer paper is from Authentique.

Have a great day and God bless!

Merry Christmas tree

Hi everyone!

Today's card features a new die cut from Impression Obsession.  I was surprised that this cut the paper into three pieces.   I thought ti would be cut in all one piece, but that wasn't the case.

I used some purple card stock for one of the mats and for the die cut.  The die cut has been placed on to some beautiful crimped silver glittered card stock that I bought at Michael's.

Take care all and God bless!

Spit Happens

Hi everyone!

Today's card features an adorable digital image from Mo Manning called Spit Happens.  I've colored the little baby with my Copics.   I've also used Graphic 45 Little Darlings designer paper for this card.

I've got six craft shows lined up for this fall and hopefully will be signing up for one more.  I'm going to be a busy girl making cards.

Take care all and God bless!

Baby Butterfly

Hi everyone!

Last night I received a call from my cousin, Gai, expressing concern to whether I was okay or not as I hadn't been posting any of my cards.  I'm okay.  My not posting any pictures is all my 10 month old puppy's (Gizmo) fault.  He's chewed two data cables (I'm on my third one now in a month) and my USB cord for loading pictures from my camera to my computer.  All new cords are present now and they have been sprayed with Bitter Apple so I'm hoping no more replacing data cords.  I guess I should count myself lucky that he hasn't chewed any electrical cords.

Anyway today's card features the Butterfly Baby digi image from Saturated Canary.  I colored the image using my Copics and used some Opal Liquid Pearls on her wings.  I've also used some Little Darling's Graphic 45 paper for this card.  I'm really  hoarding this paper as it's been difficult to find.

I should be posting something everyday for awhile as I do have a backlog of some cards and tags.

Take care all and God bless!
