Gizmo says Hi blog friends!

Today, I thought I would introduce my blog friends to my new little Malti-tzu puppy named Gizmo.  I purchased him from Glory Ridge Kennels on Monday.  He my Christmas present to myself!  He is the sweetest little guy.  He will be 8 weeks old tomorrow (Thursday).

I have purchased two other Shih Tzu from Glory Ridge.  I thought they had moved out of the area, but was so glad to find out that they are back in Missouri.  They now reside in Warsaw instead of Richmond, Mo.

I took Gizmo to the vet this morning and he weighs 2.8 pounds.  Wish he could this size, but he'll grow to around 11 pounds.

Karen has several Shih Tzu puppies for sale currently and she is expecting another litter of Malti-tzu puppies anytime.  Check out her web site GloryRidge.com.  Even if your not interest in the puppies, the pictures are so cute.

I'll be back in the next few days with more cards, but can promise when as I'll be playing with my new puppy :)

Tilda with holy baby

One week to Christmas!

I'm working on my special cards for special friends and family members.  Here's one I just completed.

I stamped Tilda with holy baby with Memento ink and colored the image with Copics.

The card base is white card stock.  The navy card stock is Bazzill.  The designer paper if from Recollections.  I've also used gold mirror paper as a mat for the image and the sentiment.

The sentiment stamp was embossed using gold embossing powder.  The stamp is from Hero Arts.

Copics used are:

Yellow:  Y11, Y13
Darker blue:  B37, B34, B32
Lighter blue:  BG01, BG000, BG0000
Hair:  E35, E33, E31, E50

Gift card holders

Hello everyone!

As you can see, I have been busy completing orders for gift card holders.  I took be a couple of days to finish all fourteen of them.   At one crop, I used my Silhouette machine to cut out the library pocket holders.  Another few hours was stamping the images.  Then on Friday, I took my Copic markers and stamped images to the Scrapbook Page to use their workroom to spread out and color the images.  Then on Saturday it took all day to put everything together.   It was fun though as I got to spend some quality time with my friend Marg Thomas.

As you can tell, I used my favorite Magnolia stamps on a lot of the cards.  I did use one LOTV image called Ooops as my customer wanted it for a grandson as it reminded her of him.

Well now it's time to put them in envelops and deliver them.

Take care call and God bless!

Caroling

Wow it's December and the 7th already!

Yesterday was fun.  I went to see the movie, Lincoln with my best friend Liz.  It's always great to spend time with buddies!  We had lunch at Lonestar and then went to watch the film.  The acting is great.

Here's a card I made last week.  It uses a cute design from Art Impressions.  I stamped it and then colored with Copics.  The designer paper is from Echo Park.  I added Liquid Applique and glitter to the card.

Copics used:

BG05, BG02, BG00, V15, V12, E11, E00, E000, R20, E35, E33.  I also added some Liquid Pearls for nose.

Tomorrow is my last craft show for 2012.  It's at the square in Independence, Mo.  at Trinty Episcopal Church in their Fellowship Hall.  The show is from 9 to 3.

Take care all and be joyful for the blessings you have and the blessing yet to come your way!   God bless.
