Secret Garden Birthday card
Hi everyone!
My best friend's birthday was on the 22nd. We'll be getting together soon to celebrate our birthdays as they are three weeks apart.
While on Pinterest looking at Graphic 45 cards, I saw a layout that I liked using Ladies Diary paper. Unfortunately, I wasn't into Graphic 45 when it was available so I decided to use Secret Garden paper.
When I decided to make the card, I wanted to find some doilies. Do you know how many stores I checked? None had them in the size or color I wanted. Then I remember seeing some doilies in the color I wanted at Remember This Remember That. That store is in Gardner, KS and is 45 minutes from me. However, since this card was for my best buddy I drove to RTRT and lucky for me they still had them. They are from Kaisercraft.
The top card was my first card for Liz's birthday. It seemed too crowded to me and you couldn't really see the layers. So I decided to try a 5 x 7 card. I like it much better.
I used the Memory Box Fresh Foliage die for the white leaves that are sticking out from the doily. The flowers are from Recollections. Not sure of the rhinestone company as they were in my stash.
I hope you are enjoying your Sunday. Take card and God bless!

French Country Sunflowers
Hi all!
I thought I would share with you two cards today made from Graphic 45 French Country paper.
The card on the left is card designed by ReNae Crabtree Allen who does vintage card classes at Ink, Paper, Rubber. The diamonds around the sunflowers have had Glossy Accents added to them. Before the Glossy Accents was dry I added some glitter to the centers. This card uses 12 x 12 French Country Graphic 45 paper and is a 5 X 7 card.
When I got home from class and maybe a few days later, I decided to make an A2 card from the 8 x 8 French country paper pad. Again glossy accents was added to the diamonds and to the center of the sunflowers. Since the seam binding ribbon would have been too big for my card, I used baker's twine.
It's nice to be inspired by ReNae!
Take care and God bless.

You Look Fabulous
I love MFT/Pure Innocence images. I always very happy when the scrapbook/stamping store in Gardner, KS, Remember This, Remember That includes one of the images in their Copic classes.
After coloring this cutie up at the store, I brought her home and added some embellishment by adding Liquid Pearls in Opal to the pearls on the image. Then to the boa, I had to add some flocking with glitter in it from Martha Stewart.
Now that I'm looking at it again, I think I'm going to add some glossy accents to the shoes. This may become my cousin's birthday card. Gai and I share July birthdays. Mine is the 13th and hers is the 17th.
That's it for today. Take care all and God bless!

I'm back!
Hi everyone!
Nothing happened to me, but for a long time, I could not upload pictures to my blog. For some reason tonight, I decided to try again and success I was able to upload a card.
Then I misplaced my camera! That was also found today, so tomorrow when the sun is out, I'll be taking a bunch of pictures of cards.
So this card involves no stamping. I used Graphic 45 papers from A Place in Time. I also used the Memory Box Poppy die cut on this card which I inked in some purple ink around the edges.
This was a Mother's Day card that I had for sale at a craft show back on May 4th.
I'm looking forward to sharing lots of card with you.
Take care and God bless!
