Happy Saturday!
What a wonderful time I had cropping last night. I made two scrapbook pages which will show up here later after I print the pictures to add to the layout. I also made this card.
This card is going to be my entry to the TOMIC challenge this week. Their challenge is 3-2-1. Three papers, two embellishments, and one Magnolia image. Here is the link for TOMIC: http://officialmagnoliainspirationchallenge.blogspot.com/
For the above card I chose the cute Hello Tilda. My designer papers are from We R Memories. The solid card stocks are from Bazzill. I used Cryogen White paper to stamp the Tilda image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and I colored her with Copics.
My embellishments are the cute bunnies at the bottom which were cut out from a Silhouette machine. My friend from the crop happen to have this already in her folders so to save me from by the image (I did anyway) she cut it out for me. She also had the cute pom poms that I used for the bunny tails. Jodi, another friend at the crop, let me use her white pen to make the bunny ears white and to add dots to Tilda's cheeks.
I added orange rhinestone to the center of the daffodils and three pink pearls to the side of the card. So more embellies then called for :) My base card is 5 3/4 inch square.
Copics used:
Skin: E11, E00, E000, E0000, R20
Hair: E29, E25, E13
Egg: RV02, Rv00, RV000, RV0000
Dress: B04, B02, B01, B00
Thanks for looking and may God Bless!

It's Friday
It's Friday! I'm looking forward to spending time with cropping friends tonight.
I did this card yesterday after viewing something similar on Splitcoaststampers.com. I'm really in a pansy mood. I ordered three stamp sets the other day and they all had pansies on them.
This set is from Mark's Finest Papers. The pansies were stamped onto Cryogen white cardstock and colored with Copics. I used all the B0's for the blues and YG0's for the greens. Y18 for the center of the pansies with a tiny bit of stardust Stickles in the center.
For the background around the pansies, I masked them and then used a background stamp from Stampabilities that had text on it. I stamped it using Walnut Stain distress ink. I then stippled Tea Dye ink over everything else. I really like that impact. It really makes the pansies pop. The ribbon is from May Arts.
I should be back sometime over the weekend. I hope to complete tonight two cards for a couple challenges (at least the coloring) and a couple of scrapbook pages too. We'll see how much I get done :)
Until next time, may God bless!

A Pansy Thinking of You card
Happy Thursday!
I've been thinking about doing this card for awhile. I've run out of Thinking of You cards in my stash. Pansies have to be one of my favorite flowers. Their happy faces just impact me. They remind me of growing up at my grandmother's. She had pansies everywhere in her yard.
The stamp is from JustRite Stampers. The image was stamped onto Cryogen White paper using Memento tuxedo black ink and colored with Copics. (Y13, B06, B05, B02, YG05, YG03, and YG01).
All papers are from Bazzill. I used a Cuttlebug to dry emboss the blue paper. I used oval and scalloped oval Nestabilities die cuts for the ovals. The ribbon is from May Arts. I used Liquid Pearls Opal to create the pearls in the scallop oval. Just a little Stardust Stickles was added to the center of the pansies.
The size of the card 5 1/2 by 4 1/4.
Have a blessed day.

Snowflake Tilda
Happy Wednesday everyone!
I finished this card up this morning. I will be entering it into two challenges. It will be entered into the Magnolia-lious challenge blog. The challenge this time is using blues and browns on your card. I'm hoping that my tan/kraft paper will be considered as a brown :). The Magnolia-lious blog is www.magnolia-liciouschallengeblog.blogspot.com.
The card is also being entered into the Christmas Challenge blog as it fits their Sketch challenge 20. The link for this blogs is: http://christmaschallenges.blogspot.com/
I've used Snowflake Tilda on this card. I won her on an auction on ebay as I don't think she's been available in the USA...yet.
She has been stamped using Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Cyrogen white cardstock. I've used Copics to color her. The list will be at the end of this post.
Papers are by Bazzill and DCWV. The card is 5 3/4 inch square. I've used a gelly roll pen on the snowflakes in the image. The snowflakes at the top right of the card were punched using a Martha Stewart punch. The rhinestones used were from my stash.
Copics used:
Skin: E13, E11, E00, E000, E0000, R20
Hair: E13, E25, E29
Blues: B95, B93, B91
Browns: E44, E43, E42, E41
Have a blessed day everyone!

Recipe
Yesterday's recipe class features recipes for gift jars.
Julie Case made these bars for class and she also had a sample jar so we could see how pretty the ingredients looked in the jar.
All I can say is that after the snow melts, I'm heading out to buy the ingredients. However, my ingredients won't end up in a jar for someone else. Nope, they're going to be mine all mine! These bars are absolutely delicious!
If you can't quite see the ingredients, e-mail me at WindyGEM@earthlink.net and I'll e-mail you the recipe.

Broken Angel
This is the first of two posts today.
We finally got snow here in KC overnight. So today I'm trying to get caught up on some reorganizing of my stamp stuff. I want to have my "extra" stuff ready for friends to go through before I take it to The Scrapbook Page for their Garage Sale that is March 3rd and 4th. I do have a lot of stuff. I hate to part with some of it, but a girl has got to do what a girl has to do.
Today's card is from a class back in January. It was designed by Barb Foster at The Scrapbook Page. It features a stamp called Broken Angel from Sweet Pea Stamps. It was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black in on X-Press it paper and colored with Copics. I'll have the list of Copics at the end of this post.
The card features white and silver bling cardstock from Bazzill. The designer paper is from Echo Park. The ribbon is from May Arts. Going back through the instructions, I found I forgot to put 3 clear dew drops on the card, but that's an easy fix.
For some reason this angel just gets to me. Her expression reminds me of someone, but I'm not sure who that someone is.
Skin: E11, E00, R81 (cheeks), E000
Eyes: E29, E25 Pupil: T7 (blender to highlight)
Lips: R83, R81
Hair: E29, E25, E35

Back later with a recipe from yesterday's recipe class.

Wilma with Rose
Happy Sunday!
I'll be heading out into the cold here in a little bit to go to a recipe page class at the Scrapbook Page. Before I go I wanted to post my entry for this week's challenge over at Just Magnolia. This week's challenge is Pink, Lace, and Pearls.
Those of you who know me know I love dogs! I love this stamp from Magnolia stamps called Wilma with Rose. Between the card from my last post with the Penny Black stamp with the dog holding the rose, I cannot chose a favorite stamp. They're both so cute.
Wilma has been stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copics. The papers are from three different companies, Bazzill, Paper Company, and Authentic. The pearls are from Hero Hues.
Copics used are:
Browns: E17, E13, E33, E31, E50
Greens: YG05, YG03
Reds: R56, R37, R35
Pinks: R85, R83, R81
Stickles were added to the rose.
Secretly I am hoping for snow tonight. We may have our first inch of snow by morning. It's been a strange winter in the KC area.
Now to head to the class. Blessings all!

Critter Party
Happy Wednesday! Got back from a massage and have played on the computer for awhile. Now it's time to make some cards. This card was from a class I took on Monday at Scrapbook Page in Barb Foster's Copic 101 class called LOVE.
No, I don't need a Copic 101 coloring class, but I love to go and socialize with the other ladies and besides, Barb's desigs are always so awesome!
This card features one of my favorite stamps from Penny Black. It available in rubber and also clear on a set called Critter Party. I just love this little dog. I've used him on Miss You, Birthday, and I'm sorry cards. He just so darn cute and can be used with any sentiment. So he's perfect for this Valentine's card.
Barb's design used two Copic colors I haven't used before. E17, E13 are used on the dogs ears and tail. The rest is E33, E31, and E50. The rose is R56, R37, R35. Greens are YG03 and YG01. The ground is also YG03 and YG01. The sky is B000 and B0000.
Well, Diago wants something so I better see what he wants so he stops whining. Then it's time to head down to the craft room and decide which Valentine cards head to friends and family.
Later and Blessings!

Winter Copic 101 cards
These cards no way reflect the weather here in KC. We've had a winter without snow! So far we've only had .7 inches of snow and that was over three different times. We're on pace for two records. One, the latest we ever got one inch of snow and the longest time without an inch of snow.
I promised last week that I publish here on my blog Barb Foster's winter cards from a class I took at Scrapbook Page last week. I love the teals in these cards. My favorite card is the polar bear. He's from CC Designs.
Happy Tuesday everyone and I'll be back soon with the Love cards that we made yesterday in Barb Foster's class for February.
Blessings all!

With Love from Northwoods
Wow it Friday already! Where has the week gone? You'd think with being retired I would be able to post everyday :)
Monday night I made cards with Rene Koehn at Scrapbook Page. It was her last class with the Scrapbook Page. She's going to be missed there; however, we all wish here well in her new endeavor in Gardner KS. as she manages a new scrapbook/stamp store in downtown Gardner.
Tuesday at 11 a.m. I made cards with Barb Foster at Scrapbook Page. They were so cute. I got everything colored, but waited until yesterday to put them together. I'll picture them later and post them.
Wednesday at 11 a.m. I did a class at Stamper's Ink with Northwoods' Valentine's Day stamps that were on a special board from Northwoods. Today's card is one of those cards. At the class I basically stamped the cards and then brought them home to color and put together. There's a few changes. I put the pink card stock through a hearts Cuttlebug folder to emboss them. I then did a white ribbon with polka dots across the card (I think the original card the ribbon going vertically). I then stamped the "with love" on purple card stock. The original card had February 14th on it so that was also a change. The hearts were colored with Copics (V15, RV06, YG06). Stardust stickles has also been added around the "with love" and on the dots and small hearts on the bigger hearts. The card is on piece of purple card stock that measures 5 1/2 X 4 1/4.
This card with several others will be taken to The Scrapbook Page. They are currently offering through the 2/8 that if you bring in three Valentine cards for Children's Mercy Hospital, they will give you 30% off of you're purchase. Since I'm going cropping there later, I'll deliver them tonight. I think I have several more to give them then the three as I went through my inventory and pulled some others. Too bad I can't get a discount for them too, but that's not the purpose of the cards. It's to bring some Valentine wishes to children in the hospital on Valentine's day.
Blessings everyone!
