Hi everyone!

Earlier this week I contacted some friends at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas City to let them know that I would be at the Caring Program for Children craft show tomorrow, Friday, August 16th.   I told them that if anyone needed a special card made to let me know and I would try to have it ready for the craft show.

I received a request from one lady to make a card for a couple celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary.  What an awesome achievement for that couple!

This morning I made the above card.  Before I began the card I looked on the internet to find out if there was a special color for 65 years of marriage and there was and it's sky blue.  I then found some blue paper (I hope it's sky blue).  I used the Catalina Wreath die cut, the typewriter numbers, and the birds from Memory Box to decorate the card.

I then stamped the sentiment "Anniversary Blessings" in Bashful Blue ink from Stampin' Up.  Inside the card using the same ink, I stamped the sentiment:  "Your Anniversary is a time to celebrate the beauty & blessing of enduring love.  May you share that gift more today than ever before!".  Both sentiments are from Sweet & Sassy stamps.

Well back to my craft desk as I still need to create more inventory of cards for upcoming craft shows.  I also have one more special card to make that will be a Hawaiian themed birthday card for someone who will be celebrating their 70th birthday.

Take care all and God bless!

For the birds, I added some sparkly white fluff for a little texture.
