Hi everyone!
For today's card I've used a little bit of lots of products.
The image is Drip Drop Tilda which is an exclusive stamp in the UK from Magnolia stamps. I was able to order online via Sir Stampalot. She's been stamped with Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored with Copics. I won't be able to list the Copics this time as I colored her on 2/18 and did not write the color numbers down.
I've use two die cuts from Memory Box. The Petite Umbrella and Lovely Aster. The die cuts for the corner are from Cheery Lynn. The sentiment is from Stampin' Up. I tried cutting a cloud; it more or less looks like one :)
The designer paper is from Authentique from their Spring 6 x 6 bundle pad. I even put some pearls on the cloud that are from Hero Arts. There's PK Glitter on the rain drops and on her slip.
So like I said a little bit of everything on this card.
That's it for today. Take care and God bless!

Because I Care
Hi everyone!
The snow storms are over...at I hope they are. We had a little snow last night that covered the driveway, but as I look outside through my window, quite a bit of the payment is beginning to show.
So what do you do when you're in stuck inside? You make cards. I saw a real cute card the other day on Pinterest using this crocus stamp from Flourishes stamps. For once, before I went to the Flourishes website, I decided to check out my Flourishes stamp collection as I know I had some of the sets from their Year of Flowers releases. Sure enough there was the crocus on their set for the first four months of the year.
The base card is white card stock from Georgia Pacific. The purple/lavender layers are from Recollections. The designer paper if from Kathy Davis Designs and it is from her 6 x 6 pad called Happiness. The beautiful blue seam binding is some that I bought at Ink, Paper, Rubber. I also used some baker's twine. The die cuts are from Spellbinders. On the piece with the crocus, I kept the die cut on top until I had finished sponging some Lulu Lavender Memento ink around the image. I got that idea from the original card when I linked to the original card maker's blog. The sentiment was generated on my computer and I used a Martha Stewart tag punch for it.
The crocuses were stamped using Tuxedo Black Memento ink and colored with my Copics. The blues are B95, B93, and B91. The greens are YG97, YG95, and YG93.
I really do love this card and anticipate having to make at least two more just like it as I know my cousin Gai, and another customer (Jennifer Vogel) will probably want the card. I also need to make cards for a craft show I got coming up on March 15th at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas City. I also was happy to learn that another card sold at Ink, Paper, Rubber. So that means I need to make another card for there too.
Take care all and God bless!

Lovely Asters
Now I like snow, but the weather outside is frightful! That's two winter storms here in the Kansas City within five days of each other. Also, each storm has been different. The one last Thursday was a dry snow and this most current one is a wet snow. It only got down to 31 last night. The snow was really beautiful on the trees and bushes. However, with a wet snow several areas of town have had power outages. Blessedly I haven't had to deal with that.
So now let's think spring or summer. Here's beautiful card that I made last Wednesday at Ink, Paper, Rubber in Overland Park, Ks. It was from their die cut class and I got to admit that this is the card that drew me into the class. Anything blue always catches my eye and I especially like the blue/yellow combination. It uses several die cuts from Memory Box: Lovely Aster, Chesapeake Circle and butterflies from the butterfly border.
As look out my window from my craft room, I see the snow falling off the trees. Oh well, natural beauty sometimes is short lived.
Take care all and God bless!

Hello Friend
Hi Everyone!
Here's a card I made the other day while it was snowing. Some of the 9 1/2 inches that we got on Thursday is melting today as it is 41 degrees. I finally got my driveway cleared out as my nephew and my niece's husband showed up with a backhoe (I think that's what it's called) and dug me out. Just in time for tomorrow night's next storm. The new storm, Rocky, is supposed to give us an additional 8 to 15 inches of snow. I think I'm beginning to know how those folks in Boston and that area feel after snow after snow.
The base card is white Georgia Pacific card stock. The next layer, the die cut (from Cheery Lynn) and the center mat are all from Stampin' Up (SU) and it's Marina Mist card stock.
The stamp is from Hero Arts and is called Small Solid Flower. I stamped it using SU Rose Red ink. The sentiment is from Flourishes and it was stamped using Marina Mist ink from SU.
The pearls are also from Hero Arts.
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday and will be back later this week with more cards!

Last Monday some stamping friends and I got together at The Scrapbook Page to stamp and color. I had ordered from Simple Pleasures in Colorado two new exclusive Memory Box stamps and dies and decided to share them with my friends. The roses on the black strip of paper is one of the stamps and die sets.
I colored the roses using Copics. The reds are R29, R27, and R24. The pinks are RV04, RV02, and RV00. Greens are YG25 and YG23.
I used some favorite Authentique paper from their collection called Lovely. I used an older Magnolia stamp called Tilda with rose. She's also been colored with Copics.
My friends loved the roses so much I think they'll probably be ordering their own sets from Simple Pleasures.

A card this time
Okay, now I'm back with a card to show you.
I've got to admit that this is almost an exact card I saw on Pinterest. The card didn't have a sentiment, the bow was lower and it also had a bunch of Martha Stewart leaf punches under the bow.
The green base card is from Bazzill. The white card stock is Georgia Pacific. The layer next to the green has been embossed with a Stampin' Up folder. I've used Spellbinders floral oval to cut out the pink oval and the paper is from Recollections. The next oval I used Memory Box Wild bloom to cut out the negative space. The ribbon is from Essentials. I also used Stampin' Up ticket punch on the corners of the white embossed layer.
The thinking of you sentiment is from Pink by design.
I just love the impact this cards has and the color combination.
Take care all and God bless!
Gizmo graduation picture
Hi everyone!
Today I'm breaking away from showing a picture of a card I've made. Today I'm being a proud puppy parent and show off Gizmo's puppy kindergarten graduation picture from last night. He's just so cute! Not that I'm prejudice or anything :)
Take care all, I'll be back later today with a card. God bless!
