KU colors Tilda with Lamb
Happy Saturday everyone.
Today I've been completing cards that were ordered and need to be delivered at church tomorrow.
One of the ladies wanted cards for her two granddaughters. One was supposed to be in Kansas University colors of crimson and blue. The other in K-State colors of purple and silver.
I'm sharing the KU one with you today because Kansas is playing Ohio State tonight in one of the two final four games. Rock Chalk Jayhawk!
I'll share the other card and some others that I completed today on other days.
My sister and her family and my brother now live in Chillicothe, Ohio which is about 45 miles south of Columbus, Ohio. Now I fully expected some trash talking from my family, but I was surprised when my sister, Kay, started it yesterday with e-mail. I will continue that tradition today when I post this card on Facebook :)
I colored Tilda several weeks ago and of course by now my memory is gone to which individual Copics I used.
Anyway, have a great day and God Bless!

Baseball Tilda
It's Friday!
I had a request for an Easter card where they wanted something about girls softball as the person who will receive the card plays on the girls softball team at Shawnee Mission Northwest...thus the orange and black colors. My challenge was how to make into an Easter/Springtime card.
I was going through my MANY paper pads and found these designer papers from Bo Bunny from their Country Garden line. Perfect!
The card is 5 3/4 inch square. The card base is white Bazzill then a 5 1/2 inch square of Bazzill card stock called quicksand. The rest are designer papers from the Bo Bunny collection.
Baseball Tilda was stamped with Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored with Copics. I then cut her out and glue her to the ovals that I cut out using Nestabilities. The gemstones and pearls are from Hero Hues and the butterflies are from a Martha Steward punch.
Since the theme this week at Just Magnolia is Spring, I'll be entering it. That blog address is: JustMagnolia.blogspot.com.
Have a good day everyone!

First Communion Card
I had a request from Mo who has taught me how to use my Silhouette machine for a first communion card for a boy. The top card is the one I did for her. I did one in pink to take to the Antique Mall in Shawnee Mission to sell where I'm sharing a booth with my sister-in-law, Dixie, and her sister-in-law, Marilyn.
The stamp is from Stampendous. It's a set that I bought last year. The sentiment has been computer generated.
The papers are from Echo Park.
The cross was stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copics. For the blue card, I used B37, B34, and B32. For the pink card I used R85, R83, R81, and RV00.
Enjoy your day and God Bless!

Chocolate Bunny
I must be hungry. When trying to think of a name for this post, I could only think of CHOCOLATE :)
This card measures 4 1/4 X 5 1/2. Card stock is from Bazzill. Ribbon is from my stash. The stamp is from Northwoods stamps and it was stamped using Memento tuxedo black ink onto Cryogen white card stock and colored with Copics.
E79, E47, E74, RV02, Rv00 are the Copics.
I've got to go make some more cards today so will have more to post tomorrow, but first I think I'll get some lunch!
Have a blessed Monday everyone!

For he has Risen
What a beautiful Sunday. Enjoyed attend church this morning.
When I saw this card on the Archiver's website, I knew I had to make it. It definitely expresses the reason for my faith. Without Christ rising, it would be so impossible to believe and achieve eternal life.
The stamps and sentiments are from Northwoods stamps. I've stamped the small lily and the sentiment using Versafine Imperial Purple. The cross image was stamped onto Cryogen White card stock and colored with Copics. All other papers are Bazzill.
Copics used are: V02, V000, V0000, Y18, YG67, YG63. I added yellow Stickles to the lilies.
Now to get ready to watch Kansas play North Carolina.
Take care all, thanks for looking, and God bless!

Four Bunnies
Wow what a beautiful day!
I spent yesterday evening coloring many images. This one of them. The four bunnies stamp is from Northwoods Stamps. So is the sentiment. The design of this card is very close to the card of the month at Archiver's.
I've used Bazzill card stock. The green polka dot and green solid card stock are from Bo Bunny.
The image was stamped onto Cryogen white card stock and colored with Copics (E35, E34, E33, and E31 for the browns, the greens were YG67 and YG63). I used some W1 on the bunny tails, but then covered that up with some Stardust Stickles.
The punch is from EK Success. The ribbon is most likely May Arts.
I'll more cards for you as I colored several images last night and today I'm making the cards. I've already done five cards utilizing three different stamped images.
TFL and God bless!

Milly Cuddle TIme
I hope everyone is having a wonderful Friday. I know a lot of you are looking forward to the weekend. I am too. Nothing specific planned, but I hope to work on some more cards. At least that's my goal. I'm cropping tonight so I planned to do a lot of coloring. Then the rest of the weekend, I can assemble the cards.
My sister-in-law, Dixie, ordered four Easter cards. This is one for one of our nieces.
The image is one from Lili of the Valley stamps and is called Milly Cuddle Time. I stamped it onto Cryogen white paper with Pitch Black ink and then colored with Copics. Even though I just finished coloring the image, I'm already forgetting which numbers I used and I already cleaned up. Oh well. The designer paper is from Kaiserkraft. The ribbon is some I bought at JoAnn's. I've used four silver Dew Drops on the rounded corners of the card. The "Happy Easter" stickers are from my stash and are from Stampendous. I think I've had them for at least a year or more.
Anyway enjoy the rest of your day and God Bless!
Copics:
Skin: E11, E00, E000, R20
Hair: E27, E25, E33, E31
Shirt: V02, R81
Cat: C3, C1, C00
Dog: A hodgepodge of browns and greys. I was trying to make him look Heinz 57/mutt like :)

You crack me up
Happy Thursday! The sun finally came out today and it was definitely a welcome sight after three days of rain. However, it was short-lived as we just at a little thunder shower move through our area here in Kansas City, KS.
The other day I was Archiver's and found these cute egg stamps from Northwoods Stamp company. However, they were out of the You crack me up! sentiment. Lucky for me one of my stamping friends has it and is letting me borrow it until the one I ordered is received. I have a couple of orders for this card and it is a fun to make. It's not often I get to work with Bubblegum colors :)
The images are stamped using Memento Tuxedo black ink on to Cryogen white paper. I colored them with Copics and added Stickles.
Copic colors:
Pinks: RV06, RV04, RV02
Yellows: Y17, Y15, Y13
Orange: YR04
Well it's time to get ready for dinner and then it will be time to watch the NCAA tournament. I'm going to pull for the Ohio teams...at least until one of them has to face Kansas. Enjoy your day and God bless!

Ruffles Puppy Plaque
Happy Wednesday evening. It's been a lot of card making for me the last few days and I love it!
This is one of the cards that I made for one of Easter card orders that I needed to deliver today.
This card features an image from Stampavie that features the art work of Helz Cuppleditch. The stamp is called Ruffles Puppy Plaque. It's a stamp that was out last year and I bought it online from 7 Kids College Fund. I didn't know the name of the stamp so I did check 7 Kids website and found so I do know the stamp is still available.
The image was stamped on Cryogen White paper with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copics. I'll list the Copics at the end of this post.
You'll recognize the layout from the cute Make 'n Take that I posted on Sunday. The designer papers are from Echo Park. The rhinestones are from Hero Hues. I used cantaloupe Liquid Pearls on the center of the flowers.
That's it for today. Have a great evening and God bless!
Copics used:
Browns: E35, E33, E31
Blues: B23, B21
Pinks: R83, RV10
Yellows: Y15
Greens: YG23, YG03

Little Bunny Tilda
Happy Monday everyone.
We have some pretty heavy rain here today...a little thunder, but nothing scary.
It's a little dangerous driving in the downpours. Around lunch I drove to our two local Archiver's stores. When I was heading to the one out south, I saw a truck in a ditch near a bridge abutment. When I was coming back home, I saw another car off in a ditch a few miles south the earlier accident. I figure the cars lost control while they where hydroplaning. I know when I switched lanes, I could feel my wheels slipping. So folks, remember to adjust your speed according to the driving conditions. Be careful out there!
For today's card I used Little Bunny Tilda and two Easter eggs stamps from Magnolia stamps. I must confess that this isn't an original design for this card. Last year Julie Case had a Magnolia Copic II class with this design. I've changed some of the Copic colors and of course had to use different designer papers then what we used last year.
I've used two different company's designer papers for this card. The long narrow pink polka dot paper is from Echo Park. It should look familiar as it was used on the Make 'n Take card that I posted yesterday. The other two designer papers (striped and polka dot half circles) are from a 6 X 6 paper pad call Dwell from My Mind's Eye.
The images were stamped with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Cryogen White card stock. The image was popped up. I used circle Nestabilites to cut a circle and then cut them out and glued them to the image. I added some Stardust Stickles to Tilda's Bow and to the eggs.
Let's see if I remember the Copics I used:
Skin: E11, E00, E000, R20
Hair: E33
Costume: R81, RV10
Bow: R83, R81, RV10
Yellow Egg: Y15, Y11
Blue Egg: B04, B02
Orange ties on blue egg: YR04
Grass: YG23, YG03
That's it for today. I need to head back down to my craft room and work on some orders I need to deliver this Wednesday. I probably won't be back with another card until Thursday.
Take care all and may God bless!

SPRING
Hi Everyone!
Here's a cute card that was the Make 'n Take yesterday at the Scrapbook Page. I brought it home and made one change and added one thing.
Instead of two rhinestones in the bottom right, I added a third rhinestone and centered them at the bottom.
My addition was to add some cantaloupe Liquid Pearls to the center of the flowers.
Thanks Julie for designing such a cute card.
I'll be back tomorrow with another card (I promise, the pic has already been taken).
God Bless and thanks for looking.
SPRING
It's Sunday. I missed church this morning as I was having issues in my bathroom with the toilet being stopped up. I got that resolved about 10:30, but it was too late to head to services. So it was downstairs to my "crafty" basement to work on card orders and some fun cards that I want to make for some card challenges.
Today's card is from yesterday's make n' take at The Scrapbook Page. Those of you who know me, know I have to bring the card home and I usually made some changes. My changes were so minimal they're hardly worth mentioning, but I'm going to :)
Instead of two rhinestones on the right side of the card, I centered mine and used three rhinestones instead. The only other change was that I used some cantaloupe Liquid Pearls in the center of each flower.
Thanks Julie for designing such a cute card. I'm sure I'll be making more for sending cards to family to welcome spring or wishing them a happy Easter.
God Bless and I'll be back tomorrow (I promise) with another card.

It's summer here in KC!
Hi Everyone.
I can't believe it, but it's 81 today! I almost feel the need to turn on the AC. I have even had to run the attic fan a couple of evenings to cool the interior of my home.
I just got back from delivering cards to my sister-in-laws bowling team and I picked up several more orders for Easter cards and some other cards too.
Today's card uses a Penny Black stamp. The design of the card combines two cards from a class that Barb Foster did last week at the Scrapbook Page. I didn't care for one of the cards that utilized the Martha Stewart grass punch so since I purchased the PB stamp, I created this card. Instead of coloring the flower pink as in the original card, I used blues to match my paper. I don't have the Copic numbers at hand and I don't trust my memory.
Well best head back downstairs to my craft room and get started on my Easter card orders. At least it's still nice and cool down there.
Take care all and God Bless!

Tilda with hanging rabbit
I hope everyone is having a blessed Sunday.
Today's card is one I saw at Scrapbook Page and copied the majority of it. My differences are:
My card uses a blue panel with the ribbon attached to it. The Page's card the base card is blue (instead of white) and the ribbon shows on the inside of the card. Personally, I don't like my ribbon to show on the inside. The other difference is I grounded Miss Tilda my putting E33, E31 dots for a floor around her booted feet. I also used B00, B000 and B0000 for dots to put in some sky.
Instead of using an individual sheet of designer paper that has the scallops already cut, I used a sheet of the same paper from We R Memory Keepers that is in their spring pad. My spots are also glittered. The individual sheets did not come with glitter, but the paper pad has glittered papers.
Here's a list of the other Copics colors I used:
Hair: E29, E25, E31
Skin: E11, E00, E000, E0000, R20
Green: YG07, YG05, YG03
Greys: C3, C1, C00

Tilda with a lamb
Happy Saturday to all!
It been a fun week going through the cards and card tops that I bought last week. I even managed to update a few more and to sell some cards too.
I sold some of the cards to my sister-n-law Dixie. I met her at a local bowling establishment. One of her team mates, Ge Ge, saw my cards and asked about doing some special orders for her. I've been working on them.
The above card is one of those special cards. Ge Ge's granddaughter, Aspen, likes yellow. So I had to incorporate yellow into my card. To me purple goes great with the yellow. I selected this Magnolia stamp, Tilda with lamb, to use on this card for Easter.
Tilda has been stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Cryogen White card stock and colored with Copics. I'll list the Copics at the end of this post.
This square card measures 5 3/4 inches. I've used a yellow card base from Bazzill. The purple card stock is also from Bazzill. The designer paper is from Imaginisce. Gemstones, pearls, and flowers are from Hero Arts. Ribbon is from May Arts. The bunny embellishment is from We Are Memory Keepers.
I've got three more cards completed and pictures taken so I know I'll be able to post at least three more times in a row :)
Did I mention the stuff I took to the Scrapbook Page garage sale sold real well? Let's put it this way I could pay my crop fees for a year. However, the $$$ won't last that long as I'll use my store credit for classes and other purchases too.
Copics used:
Skin: E11, E00, E000, E0000, R20
Purple: V17, V15, V12, V01
Greys: C3, C1, C00
Hair: Y26, Y21, and E31
Yellow flowers: Y15, Y11
God Bless!

Cards from Garage Sale at Scrapbook Page
Okay, I love to buy cards/card tops from individuals at garage sales. I bought lots of them this weekend from the garage sale at the Scrapbook Page. On Friday, I was lucky enough to see Julie Case bring in boxes of cards and card tops that she wanted to sell. I three boxes directly from her before the sale and some card toppers on Saturday morning.
Here's three cards tops that I have turned into cards. Julie used to be a Stampin' Up dealer so she had oodles of cards from classes she taught and seminars she attended.
The center card has a flip up in the center and inside I stamped "thinking of you".
That's it for now. I'm still sorting the cards and toppers. I'll be working on these purchases for awhile and getting them ready for future craft shows and selling to friends and family. It's work, but definitely a labor of love. Have I said lately I love my paper crafting hobby? I do...LOTS!
Have a blessed week everyone!

Top Three!
Time to celebrate! My card from my February 15th posting was one of the top three cards at http://christmaschallenges.blogspot.com/. That definitely inspires me to get back to coloring and making more cards. Hopefully this weekend I'll be able to that.
I know it's been awhile since I posted. I have been moving my stamping supplies from the main floor of my home to my new crafting space in my basement. While doing that, I've been going through all my supplies and deciding to part with some of it. A local scrapbook store, The Scrapbook Page, is having their garage sale this weekend and my "extra stuff" is heading there this afternoon.
I hate to admit it but I've gone through almost 300 pricing stickers for this sale and I still have way to much stuff!
If you're in the greater Kansas City area head to The Scrapbook Page tomorrow for some great bargins. If you buy anything with stickers that end in "553", I thank you as that's some of my prized stuff!
