Just Magnolia Favorite Colors Challenge
Blessed Sunday everyone! I hope those of you who are following March Madness are enjoying the tournament play as I am. I hope your team wins...as long as they aren't playing against the Kansas Jayhawks!
This past week brought one shipment of paper that I really was excited to see. Last week I saw a card made with Anna Griffin Willow papers. The shades of blue are so cool. That paper has been talking to me all week. Then this morning I see where Just Magnolia blog is having a challenge to use your favorite color for a card. My card just had to feature that paper.
To me some of the patterns in the Willow paper represent Hawaiian quilts. So I thought I would put those papers and Tilda with a Hawaiian flower together. I also had the Aloha stamp that I wanted to use. As a lot of you know, our cards don't always go the way we plan. I had not planned to make an easel card, but with no room for Aloha on the front, I decide to do an easel card.
I stamped the Tilda image using Memento Tuxedo Black. I stamped Aloha in Memento Paris Dusk. The flower at the top of the Aloha image is from Hero Hues and it was off white that I colored with Copic FRV1. That's the same color I used on the Hibisicus in Tilda's hair. The other Copics I used are:
Hair: E25, E34, E31, E50
Skin: E11, E00, E0000
Dress and Shoes: B39, B37, B34, B21, B0000
Socks, eyelet on dress: C1 and C0
I used C0 to outline the image.
I just realized I forgot to color the cheeks and as soon as I finish here some RV10 will be added there.
